Well what an amazing night at the District Swimming Gala. Firstly a big thank-you to Tim, Simone, Louise and Helen for helping out on poolside – you were a great team.
Secondly, amazingly well done to our teams tonight. The cubs, Amber, Corey, Fenella and Jude did amazingly well, excelling in their races and securing the Second place trophy. The Scouts, Charlotte, Jessica D, Joshua, Levi, Lewis, Rachel, Thomas and Will U, as a really young group (all under 12), did superb, getting into almost every heat final.
And our twelve athletes together managed to secure Silver in the overall Cubs and Scouts combined shield, a wonderful step forward from our bronze overall position last year.
Well done all, we are so proud.
